How often are there updates to the App?
I will try to update Dueling Mobile as often as I can, and right now the updates will probably be released in tandem with newly found bugs and when I can fix them.
It all sounds great, but what does this App actually do?
Dueling Mobile provides a form of deck building and online dueling for mobile devices.
I’ve seen other Apps that serve similar purposes. What makes yours different?
Most Yugioh apps available on the play store only serve to count life points or build decks, while Dueling Mobile also provides a multiplayer online dueling platform.
Our Story
A bit about the developer
Hi guys, you can call me Nick, I’m the creator of Dueling Mobile. I am
currently a sophomore in high school and an avid Yugioh player. I joined our high school Yugioh group
late into my freshman year and have had tons of fun ever since. Unfortunately, our group has always
been plagued by one big issue: we couldn’t play outside of school because we lived too far away to
visit each other and didn’t have any computers to make use of the available online dueling programs
(we live in the boonies). We checked to see if there was an app which we could play on, but our phones
were too old to run them, so that was a no go. This issue persisted until around 8 months ago, when one
of my close friends asked me “why don’t we make our own Yugioh dueling app?”. It was just a funny
question at the time, but it got me thinking about how to actually turn that hope into a reality. After
coming up with a basic idea of the app I decided to go for it, open up Android studio, and get to work. 8
months later, I finally had the first working prototype and we were able to play. It worked for us, so I
decided to publish it in order to help others who are in a similar situation. I don’t claim to be a
professional developer, but I will try to work as hard as I can to make Dueling Mobile the best it can
be. I hope that you will enjoy it too.
